Rulesets and Games Writing
Here are a few examples of content I have written for games. I primarily work on tabletop RPGs and similar style games where a group of people collaborate on telling a story together. My focus for most of these rulesets is to make something that is easy to pick up and use as well as modify for your own purposes.
Slate and Dawnmaker are standalone RPGs. The Overland Travel rules and Downtime and Organizations rules are systems that can be used within any existing RPG. Encounter Templates, Slotless Sorcerer, and Artillerist are content for Pathfinder 2nd Edition.

Slate
Do you have friends or family who have never played a table top roleplaying game before? Do you want to play a bunch of games in different genres without teaching your players twelve new rule-systems? Do you just want to pick up a game you can read in an afternoon and play this evening? Slate is a genre agnostic tabletop role playing game designed for narrative play and collaborative storytelling with people from all backgrounds and levels of experience with TTRPGs. The core rules for slate are available free here as well as on DriveThru RPG and Itch.io.
Slate is a personal project I've been working on for the past few years. A major goal of the system is to be as user friendly to new players as possible while still offering a solid foundation for strategy and teamwork. Characters in the system are especially simple, consisting of only four Traits, each paired with a die, that describe the core parts of their character.
You can download the Core Rules here. The High Fantasy Scenario Booklet is still in the works.

Dawnmaker
A two page world-building game heavily inspired by Noel Robert Pesall's 2005 Dawn of Worlds game. Build a continent or entire planet with a group of friends as the base for an RPG campaign, or just for fun.
This mod is to be used in conjunction with Dawn of Worlds which can be found here:

Gavin's Overland Travel
This two page document was made for Pathfinder 2E but can be used in any game where you have the character traveling a distance overland. This system is very simple and relies on the players creativity to create a memorable journey rather than tracking resources or filling the time with random encounters. While the formatting makes it look like Pathfinder content, it can be slotted into any RPG with no modifications.

Encounter Templates Pf2e
Encounter design for Pathfinder 2E based on interesting combats not centered around reducing all enemies to 0 hp. These templates can be followed easily to create engaging encounters. This document has 3 of the 15 encounter templates fully rendered with example encounters that can be run.
